County Garden Services

County Garden Services is a family-run business founded in April 2000 by Daniel Jackson, who had previously been a partner in another successful landscaping and maintenance company, Scottlandscape. Having joined the company in 1986, Daniel progressed through the ranks, gaining knowledge and experience in all areas of the business, before becoming a full partner in 1998, responsible for the day-to-day running of the business.

Daniel spent three years studying Horticulture at Merrist Wood College where he gained his Horticultural qualifications. He has a love of plants, and is devoted to the study and cultivation of cacti and succulents. This dedication to his profession has led to Daniel becoming the keeper of the National Hawarthia Collection, and numerous local and national gardening awards, including 3 gold medals at The Hampton Court Flower Show. Recently, Daniel has further developed his knowledge by becoming a show judge following training course and examination.

County Garden Services is operated from our premises in Ottershaw, Surrey, where we have continued to develop the business with a team of dedicated gardening professionals. The bulk of our business is repeat work and referrals, with word of mouth demonstrating our continued success.

Locally, we sponsor the Otter roundabout, maintaining it for a number of years and winning the local council award for Roundabouts in bloom. The scheme continues to attract appreciative comments. Our involvement with local schools is well established: at Christchurch School, Ottershaw, we carry out regular garden maintenance, and at The Holy Family School, Addlestone, we have carried out several projects to improve the appearance and usability of the school grounds.
